We keep this simple: the newsletter is hosted on Substack, and we only use what is needed to send it.

Where do you subscribe?

The free weekly email is published on Substack (subscribe here). When you subscribe, you enter your email on Substack’s form (or through the embed on this site). Substack sends you a confirmation email to complete sign-up.

What data is stored?

• Your email address and subscription status, held by Substack as our newsletter provider.
• Basic delivery and open/click data that Substack may collect to run the newsletter, as described in their own privacy policy.

This website itself does not run a separate subscriber database for new sign-ups. We don't use tracking cookies or advertising trackers on this website.

What do we use it for?

Only to send you the weekly EU Funding Radar email and related messages needed to run the newsletter. We never sell your email address for marketing.

What is the legal basis?

Your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you subscribe on Substack and confirm your email. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Who processes the data?

• Substack hosts the newsletter, stores subscriber data and delivers emails.
• Cloudflare hosts this informational website.

How long is it kept?

As long as you’re subscribed on Substack. After you unsubscribe, Substack keeps data according to its own retention rules.

How do I unsubscribe or delete my data?

• Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any Substack email, or manage your subscription from your Substack account.
• To access, correct or delete your data, email EUFundingRadar@proton.me, or use Substack’s own account and data tools.
• You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
